PR & Marketing Manager

Kameo Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a PR & Marketing Manager to join a creative agency based in London. Your primary responsibilities will include expanding their audience, securing new clients, strategic planning to drive business growth, and spearheading agency events. Additionally, you will elevate brand awareness and optimise their PR and social media channels. Your analytical skills will be essential in evaluating the success of marketing campaigns and adapting strategies to maximise results.

Duties & Responsibilities of the PR & Marketing Manager

  • Develop and implement impactful marketing strategies to fortify the agency's market position.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PR and marketing within the agency, sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration and identifying key opportunities to drive growth.
  • Lead the agency's marketing strategy under the guidance of the Head of Social Media, with a comprehensive focus on PR, social media, web presence, and industry awards.
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns for the agency, specific departments, or service offerings.
  • Take charge of planning and executing company events and group-wide communications.
  • Manage the agency's PR strategy, building relationships with media outlets and securing valuable coverage.
  • Develop and execute the agency's awards strategy, including identifying relevant awards and managing submissions.
  • Create and manage a calendar of events, such as webinars and conferences, to enhance the agency's visibility and promote our services, including raising awareness in the Midlands and the North.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of the marketing plan, adjusting strategies as needed based on market shifts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure they have the necessary materials to market the business effectively to prospective clients.
  • Champion the agency's brand, collaborating with the Group Creative Director to ensure consistent branding and tone of voice across the organisation.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring a clear strategy for tracking and maximising ROI.
  • Oversee the agency website, working with the digital team to ensure it accurately reflects our business and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and distribute thought leadership content digitally.
  • Support and advise Managing Directors on their digital strategies, including LinkedIn, to increase awareness of the agency group.
  • Work closely with the social media team to ensure a strong presence for the agency across key social channels
  • Collaborate with the media department on paid media strategies that support digital awareness and lead generation.
  • Lead CRM strategy, including database management and communications, such as the monthly newsletter.
  • Provide regular performance reports and optimisation strategies to the senior leadership team, staying informed about market trends and competitors.
  • Travel to our Essex and Manchester offices to meet with teams as required.

Requirements for this role

  • Degree related to PR, marketing or business preferred
  • Proven experience of delivering strategies, and managing a range of platforms and activities, reporting, taking learnings, and adapting the approach
  • Proven experience of working with influencers
  • An excellent understanding of the range of B2B marketing platforms
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent strategic skills including conducting research, utilising statistics from reports and taking these forwards in a robust strategy with expected results and considered KPIs
  • Autonomous, self-disciplined worker, ambitious to grow the marketing team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a keen interest in building and developing brands
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive in generating ideas

Knowledge and Skills

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing channel mix: SEO, social media, PPC, display, and brand building.
  • Familiarity with marketing software such as Google Business Tools, Adobe Suite, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Web Trends, WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce, and SEMrush.
  • In-depth understanding of B2B marketing platforms.
  • Excellent strategic skills, including the ability to research, analyse statistics, and develop robust strategies with clear KPIs.
  • Experience in devising and managing CRM strategies.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis.
  • Expertise in managing the production, distribution, and reporting of content, including video.
  • Project management experience, particularly in managing award entries. and network memberships.
  • Strong advocacy skills, with the ability to present a compelling case both verbally and in writing, supported by relevant data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional copywriting, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • Skilled at prioritising and managing time effectively across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding planning, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Understanding of GDPR and relevant legislation.
