Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Iceland team at our chilled and frozen site in Swindon. As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team.
This is a full time, permanent position, working any 5 from 7, on a rotating shift pattern of 07:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 23:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £33,000.00 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
- Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse
- Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded
- Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team
- Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation)
- The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
