I am currently working with a pioneering genetic diagnostics company, who are looking to take on an experienced scientist with strong skills in molecular biology and product development. This is a fantastic role primed for promotion within a couple of years, from a top mid-level to senior position. You will work with an innovate and ground breaking company, who are currently growing with fantastic potential opportunities both in the UK and abroad.
To be suitable for the position, you will need to have strong molecular biology skills, in techniques such as PCR, cloning, DNA ligation and general DNA/RNA work (extraction etc), product development – my client will want to see experience of developing a product that is either out on the market now, or is close to being on the market. It does not need to have been development from cradle. You will need to have good understanding of general lab regulations, ISO9001 etc. Any experience of NGS would be highly beneficial, but it is not essential for this role.
