Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work with a diverse range of students across Essex, from ages 4 to 18. These roles are tailored to meet the individual needs of our students and the strengths of our assistants. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching materials and strategies to suit the individual needs of students.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
