Job Title: Strategic Marketing Manager

This is a senior role but you will have plenty of opportunities to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
About the role:
As the Strategic Marketing Manager, you will be heading up this team at an exciting time of growth. You will be responsible for :
- Devising and delivering marketing strategies and plans that engage and captivate.
- Building content around our products and brand, to generate the maximum demand, including videos, photos, case studies, website content, blogs, webinars.
- Use of marketing technology and digital channels and platforms to communicate with customers and generate leads
- Ownership of all social media strategies and plans, creating engaging and exciting content
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize campaigns and enhance audience reach and ROI
- Lead, manage and mentor a small team
- Lead and generate marketing campaigns, leveraging on the company's market share to deliver growth and raise brand awareness
- Ensuring we have the right resource to deliver on marketing plans and managing third party suppliers and deliverables
- Undertake market research and analysis - really get to the pulse of customers by meeting them and understanding their motivators and stay ahead of trend
- Work with our sales team to ensure all digital and print content is relevant
About you:
- Be the guru of social media and all things associated with digital marketing - it's your strength and passion
- Proven experience of owning and delivering on marketing strategies and campaigns
- A first-class communicator and storyteller
- A self-starter who focuses on deliverables
- We want someone as innovative as our products, always willing to try something new and different and looks beyond the ordinary
- Proven expertise in graphic design and creation and using this to create a captivating message
- Experience of working in an SME is highly desirable
This role would suit someone with a sales or product management background and have at least 2 years previous marketing experience and ready for a step up. Knowledge of electrical wholersaler or lighting industry would be ideal, but the most important thing is that you are customer and product driven, and want to make a difference.
