CNC Turner
- Annual Salary: £38,000 (£42,000 with shift allowance)

We are currently looking for a CNC Turner to join our clients growing team. Reporting to the Tool Room Manager, you will be responsible for using CNC lathes to produce high-quality dies and machine parts, playing a crucial role in supporting our production areas.
Day to Day of the role:
- Programming, setting, and operating Doosan 2100 & 2600 twin spindle lathes.
- Manufacturing precision tooling for compression and injection moulding to high tolerances.
- Engaging in continuous improvement activities within the tool room.
- Managing the supply of consumables and maintaining inventory levels.
- Interpreting engineering drawings and working independently to solve engineering problems.
- Adapting to shifting priorities and maintaining flexibility to meet production timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role within a tool room environment.
- Proficiency in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes, specifically Doosan 2100 & 2600.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing tooling for compression and injection moulding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work to high tolerances.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and the ability to work under one's own initiative.

Shift Times:
- 37-hour working week (Mon-Fri).
- 2 x shift rotation (Early & Lates).
- Early Shift: 06:05-14:35 (Mon-Thurs), 06:05-11:05 (Fri).
- Late Shift: 14:25-22:55 (Mon-Thurs), 10:55-15:55 (Fri).
