About The Role:
Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday - Between 7 am - 8 pm

As a Build-Up Breakdown Operative, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and clean-up of event spaces. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for loading waste, cleaning floor areas, and ensuring all spaces are left in pristine condition. Your role will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for future events.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Loading of waste, de-lapsing floor areas, cleaning outdoor channels, sweeping edges, mopping edges, or operating machinery
  • Removing all foreign objects from floor areas, such as nails, screws, floor bolts, cable clips, carpet tape backing, and any other foreign matter using the correct methods and equipment
  • Ensuring areas are left in a clean condition in readiness for the next event
  • Sweeping rubbish into piles ready for collection and assisting with loading waste into bins
  • Conducting regular checks to ensure all areas are free from hazards and ready for use
  • Operating cleaning machinery safely and efficiently
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly
