I am working with a Freight forward company who due to significant growth are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join their team
This role will require travel across the South region to visit clients, therefore a full driving license and vehicle is required
Hybrid working available
£45,000 - £50,000 + £5,000 car allowance + Competitive bonus structure
Job Role:
- Assist the Head of Sales in supporting the Managing Director's vision of the Company to become more competitive and profitable
- Understand and execute the departments vision of good business development in order to sell services
- To support the Head of Sales in implementing strategy, activity and reporting whenever required
- To provide guidance and help to the sales team, in the absence of the Head of Sales
- Sell services by calling, meeting and building a portfolio of clients contributing to company growth
- Ensure minimal risk is undertaken when negotiating new deals and contracts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with new and existing customers
- Sell services by meeting customers off site
- Increase sales in line with targets and KPI's
- Report and record sales pipeline activities
- Prepare reports for prospects and pipeline profitability
- Carry out due diligence checks in respect of new customers
Your Experience:
- Proven sales experience within the Freight forwarding industry
- Experience of Multimodal business and import and export
