We are seeking an Administrator to join my client's consultancy team, delivering a wide range of services within the housing sector and related fields. This role is crucial for providing high-quality support to the Head of Departments and the wider team, ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks related to Finance, IT, Data Protection & Ad-Hoc duties.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Liaise with the IT service provider to manage Office 365 accounts, including updates and email distribution groups.
  • Manage and monitor user accounts, licences, and permissions in the Microsoft 365 Admin centre.
  • Establish forwarder emails for associates and order IT/office equipment with approval from the Head of Business Services.
  • Assist with general IT troubleshooting in coordination with the IT service provider.
  • Work with the IT provider to add external users to Teams and manage the Exclaimer plug-in for new staff members.
  • Ensure the provision of IT services and equipment meets the high standards and requirements of the business.
  • Support the Head of Departments in reviewing the scope and details of personal data held within the organisation's systems.
  • Update data processing policies and procedures on an annual review cycle.
  • Assist the team with transactional posting, credit control duties, data entry onto accounting software, and general support around month and year-end.
  • Enter data into the CRM system and produce reports.
  • Undertake any other duties as instructed, within the broad scope of the role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing IT support, particularly with Office 365 and Microsoft 365 Admin centre.
  • Familiarity with IT troubleshooting and liaising with IT service providers.
  • Understanding of data protection principles and experience in handling personal data reviews and policy updates.
  • Competency in finance support tasks, including transactional posting and credit control.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage data within a CRM system and generate reports.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
