Assistant Resource centre Manager

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Assistant Resource Centre Manager for a Local Authority Client based in West London.

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulations while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for residents and staff.

About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Manage the daily operations of the care home or specific unit, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Oversee and support senior care workers, care workers, and ancillary staff.
  • Contribute to the financial management of the budget and income generation.
  • Participate in disciplinary procedures and staff training and development.
  • Facilitate and participate in regular supervision, staff meetings, and performance appraisals.

About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Extensive experience working with older people in a care setting.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a care home or similar environment.
  • Experience handling disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in administering, monitoring, and reviewing care services.

What's on offer:
Salary: £20+ph

  • may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
