**The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Nursery Manager to lead a large, well-established nursery setting. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations, ensure the highest standards of care and education, and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for children, parents, and staff.

**Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Provide strong, strategic leadership to a diverse team of educators and support staff, promoting professional growth and team cohesion.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day nursery operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and adherence to regulatory and organizational policies.
  • Educational Excellence: Ensure the delivery of a high-quality curriculum that meets EYFS standards, tailoring educational approaches to meet the developmental needs of each child.
  • Parent & Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community, ensuring effective communication and involvement.
  • Staff Development: Foster a culture of continuous professional development, supporting staff through training, mentoring, and wellness initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and enhance the nursery's outstanding reputation through rigorous quality control, safeguarding practices, and regular performance evaluations.

**About You

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Qualifications: A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in early childhood education or management.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in a senior management role within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a large team.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of EYFS and Ofsted regulations, with a commitment to best practices in childcare and education.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
