Absolute Recruit is excited to support a leading IT Managed Service Provider that specialises in the Education Sector. We are currently seeking an

ICT Technician

based in

Kent

, ideally with easy access to the

M2

to provide support to multiple sites in

Dartford

,

Gillingham

, and

Rochester

This is a customer-facing role, so the ICT Technician (2nd Line) must be comfortable interacting with clients. Prior experience in a client-facing environment, whether through a school or an IT Managed Service Provider, is highly desirable.

The ICT Technician will have experience supporting Windows operating systems, troubleshooting networks, and providing end-user computer support. You will also be responsible for maintaining school hardware, including printers, AV equipment, touchscreens, and projectors.

In addition to delivering customer-focused 2nd Line support, you will promote the company's services and assist each site with future project planning. Soft skills are just as important, and we are looking for candidates who are friendly, approachable, and engaging.

To be successful as an ICT Technician (2nd Line), you should have experience in:

  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Office 365 (essential)
  • Active Directory and creating Group Policies
  • Hardware Troubleshooting: Laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, projectors, and AV equipment
  • Education sector experience is highly desirable
