Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and strategic Marketing Communications Lead to join our client, a global manufacturing business. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and delivering the company's internal and external communications strategy, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging that reflects our clients brand values and drives engagement across all audiences.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will lead a small, agile team and work cross-functionally with stakeholders to elevate the organisations brand presence, enhance employee engagement, and support business growth through effective communication.
Role
- Support the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
- Lead on all internal communications, ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals and culture.
- Lead external communications including PR, media relations, digital content, and brand storytelling.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content across multiple channels (web, social media, newsletters, press releases, etc.).
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns, using insights to continuously improve.
- Manage and mentor a small team of communications professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment and share best practices across regions.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in marketing communications and brand management.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages.
- Experience managing internal comms platforms (e.g., intranet, newsletters) and external channels (e.g., media, social, web).
- Confident working with stakeholders and influencing at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop / mentor a team.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent project management skills.
