Construction Design Coordinator
Location: Sheffield or Leeds
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Contract: Full time, permanent. 37.5 hour working week; Monday to Friday.

We are currently seeking a talented, dynamic and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to support our team in the development of new residential projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating design-related activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of design services, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

As our Design Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and leading the design process for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of design services
- Coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Assisting in the preparation of design proposals and coordination
- Develop and maintain accurate project timelines, checklists, and reports
- Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and industry best practices
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including design files, meeting minutes, and correspondence
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent
- Identify and resolve design-related issues promptly and professionally
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Architectural or a construction related degree
- Experience in a design coordination or related role in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of building regulations and industry standards
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
