SEND Teachers with Early Years Experience
Location: Lambeth, London
Position: SEND Teachers (Full-Time)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for early years education? Do you have experience teaching children with special educational needs, or are you eager to transition from a mainstream setting into SEND? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking SEND Teachers with experience in Early Years to join our dedicated team at a leading SEND school in Lambeth. We welcome applications from both SEND specialists and mainstream teachers who have a passion for inclusive education and want to make a positive difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons for children with SEND, including Autism, communication difficulties, and developmental delays.
  • Use your expertise in early childhood development to foster a supportive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support each child's individual learning journey.
  • Track and assess pupils' progress, adapting strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Support personal, social, and emotional development, helping children build confidence and independence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in Early Years (either in SEND or mainstream settings).
  • A genuine passion for working with young children, including those with special educational needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
