Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage project resources for successful outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality designs and reports in compliance with engineering standards.
- Influence development and infrastructure planning initiatives.
- Lead project teams through all stages of consultancy and design.
- Take charge of project design and coordination from inception to completion.
- Conduct thorough site investigations and resolve issues effectively.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay updated with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
- Facilitate clear communication on structural safety matters.
- Assist in staff recruitment, retention, and management.
- Maintain financial control of projects as a Project Manager.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Contribute to business development efforts.
- Prepare and approve fee proposals and variations.
- Monitor and achieve team utilization targets.
- Represent the company in client meetings.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D Drafting, PDS Site Developer/Civil 3D, Flow/Micro-drainage, TEDDS, and similar software.
- Chartered Membership of Institution of Civil Engineers and/or the Institution of Structural Engineers.
Salary:
- £50,000 to £55,000
