Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist, educated to MSc level, to lead our quality and accreditation efforts. This pivotal role will support the migration of our departments to ISO 15189: 2022 standards, ensuring the highest quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental compliance with UKAS ISO 15189 standards and support the transition to ISO 15189: 2022.
  • Develop and maintain management system procedures, supporting continuous improvements aligned with updated accreditation standards.
  • Ensure all equipment documentation is up-to-date and maintained to acceptable standards.
  • Report, investigate, and action errors, hazards, and incidents promptly.
  • Supervise and perform complex investigations, ensuring the highest scientific standards and valid results interpretation.

Requirements

  • HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
  • MSc level education in a relevant subject.
