What you will be doing:
- Set up and operate resistance, seam, and spot-welding equipment.
- Perform chisel testing, shear testing, and visual inspections.
- Maintain electrodes and ensure they are working properly.
- Follow safety policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate production and testing records.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Prepare equipment and records for audits.
- Use measuring tools to ensure precision.
- Follow technical drawings and instructions.
- Help your team with other tasks as needed.
About You:
- Experience: Ideally, you have at least 2 years of experience in resistance welding, especially in aerospace.
- Skills: Experience with welding machines and materials like 12% Chrome, Nimonic, Stainless up to 1.2mm, and Titanium is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: You can perform precise and detailed work.
- Team Player: You work well with others and communicate effectively.
- Adaptable: You can handle different tasks and adjust to new instructions.
- Requirements: You must pass an eye test.
