Financial Accountant - Remote

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a Financial Accounting team for a multi-national organisation. This role involves supporting the Financial Controller in preparing management accounts, handling IFRS 16 lease accounting, managing intercompany loans, and reconciling inter-company balances. This position offers a great opportunity to engage with various internal and external stakeholders and contribute significantly to the financial processes.
Overview of the role:
- Prepare UK management accounts and analyse variances.
- Prepare budget and forecast information for UK costs and IFRS 16 lease accounting.
- Conduct month-end reporting, including enrichment and continuity schedules.
- Assist with the monthly inter-company reconciliation process.
- Prepare analysis and reports for Tax, Treasury, and Sector Finance departments.
Your profile:
- Qualified in a recognised professional accountancy qualification.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including use and set-up of Pivot tables and formulas.
- Experience with an accounting software package, ideally Oracle.
- Sound analytical skills and organised work ethic.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
