Based in Tamworth, this business has grown exponentially since its inception over three decades ago and continues to develop brands that keep them at the forefront. They are now in a position where they are looking to grow their sales team and are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Sales Coordinator to join their welcoming sales team. Suited to a candidate who is confident managing accounts and supporting customers throughout the sales process, this position calls for someone who has a track record in following up on quotations, processing sales orders, and identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of accounts, fostering close-knit relationships to generate trust and further business opportunities
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and promote current offers
  • Respond to incoming sales enquiries, effectively making recommendations to customers and converting enquiries into sales
  • Follow up on outstanding samples and quotations to generate further sales
  • Process customer orders and handle all sales administration, which includes following up on deliveries
  • Provide an exceptional after-sales service by contacting customers, providing resolutions, and advising
  • Actively contribute to company targets by meeting and exceeding agreed targets and supporting the wider sales team
  • Keep a record of all sales activity and ensure the CRM is updated with all relevant information

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience gained within a similar role, either as a Sales Coordinator, Internal Sales Coordinator, or Sales Executive
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster close-knit working relationship
  • Proven track record of generating sales, identifying opportunities, upselling and cross-selling, and successfully negotiating
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering excellent service
  • Strong IT skills, a confident user of Microsoft Office packages, in particular MS Excel, and CRM software
  • Good administration skills, capable of handling all administration related to a sale and your own sales activity
  • Superb time management and organisation skills, able to prioritise and juggle an ever-changing workload
