Fire & Security - Service Engineers

Salary: £35,000-£50,000K ( depending on experience )
Company Overview: We are a well-established company with over 40 years of experience in the industry, based in Reading. We are seeking a dedicated Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our team. Package:
- Salary: £35K-£50K
- Company van provided.
- 21 days holiday, increasing to 25 days.
- Overtime paid door-to-door (10-hour shifts).
- Weekend work opportunity at £500 for 1 day.
- On-call compensation for handling telephone calls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform service and maintenance on fire and security systems.
- Systems include Intruder (Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Galaxy, Honeywell), CCTV (Dahua, Hikvision, Axis, Avigilon), and Fire (C-Tec, MX Pro Advanced, Kentec, EDA, EMS, GENT, Vesda).
- Commissioning and troubleshooting of systems.
- Participate in an on-call rota (1-6 weeks), handling telephone calls and occasional call-outs.
Requirements:
- Ideally multi-skilled, but training will be provided if necessary.
- FIA certifications preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
