We are currently looking for a Warehouse and Distribution Operative to work in our Logistics Area.
What you will be doing:
- Receiving goods into the business. This can range from a small part delivery, to unloading palleted goods from lorries to unloading steel sheets with an overhead crane direct into the workshop
- Check delivery notes and book deliveries into ERP system (Epicor)
- Making goods available for issue
- Aiding internal customers
- Ensuring all paperwork is filed for traceability
- Any other ad hoc duties
We are looking for someone who is:
- Previous warehousing/stores experience is essential. Ideally within a manufacturing environment
- A full driving licence is desirable
- A forklift license is desirable
- Good Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills - including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organised
