Sheridan Maine is managing the recruitment of a Finance Officer for a forward-thinking organisation. This position is being offered on a fixed term contract for 6 months and would ideally suit someone who has experience of working in a transactional processing environment.
The successful candidate will be working remotely, with travel once a month to one of their offices.
Responsibilities of the Finance Operations Officer will include:
- Processing and allocating payments
- Issuing sales ledger invoices
- Receiving, posting and reconciling income and posting to customer accounts
- Issuing reminders and chasing outstanding debt
- Processing refunds
- Resolving queries relating to customer accounts
- Direct debit administration
- Posting of write-offs onto the systems
- Supporting internal departments by providing accounts information when required
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Experience working in a transactional processing environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to organise and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and time management skills
