Summary

We have an opportunity for a Welcome & Service Assistant to join our team at Kingston Lacy. You'll play a core part in giving information, promoting our fundraising initiatives, providing fantastic customer service as part of a passionate team, answering questions and ensuring everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

Salary: £11.64/hour

Contract/duration: Fixed term (until 28.2.2025)

Hours/working pattern: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We'd give you as much notice of this as possible.

What it's like to work here Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you'll be part of a team of 14 working at Kingston Lacy. What you'll be doing

Day to day, you'll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You'll be on hand answering queries and listening to what our visitors need so you can share the right information.

As part of the Visitor Welcome team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the presentation of the welcome area is spot on, engaging our visitors, making them feel welcome and keeping all areas clean and tidy.

You'll promote the amazing work we do with our visitors and what their money is funding, highlighting the important role our members play in supporting the Trust, as well as the benefits of membership. You'll work flexibly across all areas of the operation, providing support as needed. You'll also be working with volunteers who provide extra support to the team.
