Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a local authority, based in the center of Berkshire, which is in need of an experienced social care paralegal to join their adult care and childcare legal team. ROLE: social care paralegal - adults and childrens legal team
LOCATION: Berkshire - hybrid
RATE: £25-£30ph
CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 ongoing
Key responsibilities of the social care paralegal role:
- Support solicitors in handling a variety of childcare and adult care cases.
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
- Assist in court preparations and attend hearings as required.
- Liaise with clients, external agencies, and other council departments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role, preferably within childcare or adult care law.
- Strong understanding of legal processes and terminology.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
