Cover Supervisor

Prospero Teaching are working with an excellent mixed secondary school located close to Waterlooville, Hampshire.
The school are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic cover supervisor to join them on a permanent basis from September 2024.
The role of a Cover Supervisor is to supervise and support students in the classroom. Your role will be to cover a lesson when the class teacher is absent. Lesson objectives and resources are fully provided, and you will be expected to simply deliver the content and support students to complete the work that has been assigned.
It is important for a Cover Supervisor to have the skills and confidence needed to keep the class motivated and focused so they can work on the activities set and prepared for them. The role requires you to support pupils as they work through the lesson and to understand how to help them to complete tasks, where needed. We offer an award-winning training programme that will support you in building up these valuable and highly transferable skills.

Contract details for the Graduate Cover Supervisor:
- Location: Waterlooville
- Position: Graduate Cover Supervisor
- Start date: September 2024
- Contract type: Permanent
- Full-time / part-time available
- Hours: 8.30am to 3.00pm, term-time
- Minimum rate of pay: £95-£115 per day (depending on experience)
To be eligible, the Graduate Cover Supervisor must have:
- Full and enhanced DBS (we can arrange this on your behalf)
- Calm, personable and friendly approach
- Reliable and hard working
