About the Role:
Search Consultancy is working with a renowned client to recruit a Stores Person for their site in North Ayrshire. In this role, you will be responsible in supporting the client's strategic priorities while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake your role in line with the client's priorities and company policies.
- Work to deadline targets and provide effective customer service.
- Perform any other required duties as instructed by Management or their representatives, in addition to role-specific tasks.
- Using IT systems to process and review stock request documentation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role preferred.
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license required.
- Health and safety awareness required.
- Manual handling awareness required.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) safely and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
What We Offer:
- A competitive rate of pay.
- Minimum 6 month term
- The possibility of contract extension.
- A 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
