NXTGEN is looking for an enthusiastic Accountant to join a successfully growing Accountancy practice situated north of Norwich city. As the new Accountant, you will be part of a fantastic team of very supportive professionals who share a strong work ethic and a passion for their work. Due to recent growth and increasing demand from both new and existing clients, they now need someone to join their Senior team to help manage the workload and provide training and development opportunities for junior member of the team. You will receive a tailored role ensuring hours/ flexibility and workload, works for you and what you're looking for next.
This is a unique opportunity for someone seeking a role with a wide range of responsibilities. You will handle various accounting tasks, including preparing accounts, management accounts, VAT and Tax Returns, and Bookkeeping duties for a diverse client portfolio. There's uncapped progression available in this role due to how well the firm is doing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare all accounts and bookkeeping duties for a wise portfolio of clients
- Prepare management accounts and assist with VAT and Tax returns.
- Build strong working relationships with new and existing clients.
- Provide timely support for clients' ad hoc queries.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a Chartered Accountants/Bureau environment is preferred due to the hands-on client work involved.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft packages.
