Job Title: Marketing Business Partner
Location: Home-based, covering the North region (Yorkshire, Lancashire, Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, Cheshire with occasional site visits)
Contracted Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Salary: £37,000 - £39,000

SF Recruitment is partnering with a long-standing key client to hire a marketing professional for a full-time, permanent position. This role focuses on generating enquiries and boosting engagement through local and national marketing support.

As a Marketing Business Partner, you will primarily be home-based covering the Yorkshire and Lancashire region with occasional site visits within areas such as Leeds, Yorkshire, Bradford, Sheffield, and Cheshire.

This role involves building strong relationships with senior managers and their teams to improve engagement and commercial success, ensuring strategic targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and report on marketing strategy performance metrics.
  • Set up and regularly review marketing plans to maximise opportunities.
  • Establish support and accountability within the operations team, developing KPIs to measure and evaluate marketing activity.
  • Achieve personalised targets based on regional responsibilities and key focus areas.
  • Empower and enable service managers and their teams to undertake effective marketing activities locally and regionally.
  • Build capability and support for managers in community engagement, identifying key stakeholders, and agreeing on effective strategies and tactics.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in developing integrated national campaigns for local deployment.
  • Provide tools, training, and guidelines for best practice marketing activities across regions.
  • Support schemes with targeted remedial action plans and tactical initiatives as needed.
  • Conduct commercial reviews, research market-specific information, and undertake resulting actions.
  • Offer specialist advice to schemes to help them achieve their commercial and participation objectives.
  • Develop effective techniques and collateral to maximise intermediary sales and marketing relationships.
  • Establish and deliver marketing metrics for all key stages of the customer journey.
  • Excel in a Digital First approach with the digital marketing team.
  • Continuously improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency through testing and refinement.
  • Manage marketing activities within agreed budget and timescales.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience within public sector industries such as education, NHS, non for profit is desirable.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing local marketing plans and activities
  • Strong experience with marketing channels, especially local marketing, digital advertising, social media, and PR
  • Expertise in building brand awareness and managing customer insight and data-driven marketing campaigns
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and working with marketing agencies and stakeholders
  • Ability to produce engaging content and develop cost-effective marketing collateral
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative working style, and ability to influence positive outcomes
  • Willingness to travel regularly and at short notice
