Job description

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Bid Writer to join our team at a prominent charity based in Bradford, specialising in the employment, training, education and health sectors. This role demands precision and attention to detail, ensuring all proposals comply with corporate branding and bid management standards.

In the position of Bid Writer, you will work closely with senior team members to develop tailored responses for tender requests, guaranteeing that each submission aligns perfectly with the specific requirements of the project. You will be responsible for drafting, presenting, and assembling high-quality bids.

Ideally, you will have prior experience as a Bid Writer or Bid Manager, enabling you to lead the crafting of written responses that result in successful, high-quality bids and submissions that fulfil customer needs and expectations. A strong background in writing and editing tender submissions is essential.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer for public sector contracts, especially in employment, training, education, and health sectors.
  • Proficiency in bid writing and editing, with a focus on creating engaging and persuasive responses.
  • Familiarity with the tendering process and a comprehensive understanding of tender documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to produce client-centric materials.
