Looking for a fulfilling care role in West Dunbartonshire that overcomes challenges for those needing extra support? We're seeking reliable, energetic individuals to assist adults in the area.

Are you experienced working in a care at home setting and are looking for consistent weekend work up to 33 hours?

Are you familiar with areas such as Drumry, Whitecrook, Linnvale & Faifley?

Then we have the role for you!

We are currently recruiting for Care at Home Assistants to support older adults in their own homes. The shift times are 8-1, 4-10 or long days. With a competitive pay rate of £12 to £17 per hour with a variety of pay options.

The successful Care Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Support adults with moving and handling and medication administration
  • Supporting Service users with personal care
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Uphold service users' rights, assisting in informed decision-making
  • Maintain professionalism, meeting National Care Standards and setting suitable boundaries
  • Handle household tasks

In ordered to be considered for this post, you must be:

  • Have at least one year of experience working in a care at home service
  • Have completed your moving and handling and medication training within the last year
  • Be able to work weekend with split shifts or long days
