C#.NET Software Developer - Southampton
My Southampton-based client is looking for a C#.NET Full Stack Software developer to join a team of 6, which is continuing to grow (They have taken on 2 developers this year, so this will be the 3rd.). Ideally, you should have a mixed technology tech stack experience, ideally around Microsoft .NET, SQL Web API, JavaScript etc.
This is the time to join them on their journey and be part of a brand new digital transformation projects
Experience required:
- Strong C# .Net / .NET skills, with MVC experience.
- Experience integrating REST and SOAP services
- Demonstrable understanding of good quality core programming principles, including design patterns etc.
- AGILE software such as Jira, DevOps, and Trello.
- Development experience with SQL Server 2016 with strong knowledge in T-SQL
Desirable Experience:
- Experienced in web development tools e.g. (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Blazor, ASP.Net)
- Proficiency in source control systems such as GIT / DevOps
- Previous software development experience within a consultancy, or professional services firm such as insurance, legal or financial services practice would be a bonus

They have just implemented two new software systems, which mean there is lots of new projects of software integration and building new software platforms.
The software developer will also ensure the overall performance of their application stack is maintained and improved as they move users over to the new infrastructure and environments.
You will develop and take ownership of components and work as a team driving forward an Agile development methodology.
They open on salary, circa £45,000 - £55,000 (with some flex) + benefits, including Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare, constant pay reviews (guaranteed 4 - 5% next year) as well as several other nice treats so the staff are looked after.
