  • Location: Ealing, West London
  • Job Type: Temporary for first 2-4 weeks and then transferring to a fixed term contract to April 2025. Role may become permanent from April 2025.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (35hrs). Hybrid working will be available after the first month of starting.

We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive HR service. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities including recruitment, providing advice and support to managers and team members, developing and implementing policies and procedures, supporting organisational change initiatives, and providing legal advice on employment matters. The HR Coordinator will act as a credible face of HR, engaging in various activities and communications to promote and ensure the organisation's mission, vision, and values.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on complex and sensitive HR issues.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in interviews, disciplinary and grievance hearings as required.
  • Support organisational change including structural, cultural, and business planning changes.
  • Produce and revise job descriptions and person specifications, and evaluate posts.
  • Assist in preparing budgets for HR activities and control expenditure.
  • Build strong relationships with all associates and external organisations for best practice services.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure maximum level of HR service.
  • Introduce new initiatives, policies, and procedures to enhance associate understanding.
  • Maintain high standards of conduct and meet Health and Safety regulations.
  • Contribute suggestions for improvement of job function and service provided by the HR team.
  • Process UK and Ireland payroll.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR with a focus on developing and implementing HR services.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, human resources case law, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and payroll processing.
  • Commitment to professional self-development.

As this is initially a temporary role candidates should be available to start immediately or within a one week notice period.
