Their innovative solutions is transforming the industry and they are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager, for a newly created role, to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of a high-growth tech business.

The Finance Manager will be the second-in-command within the finance department, directly supporting the highly commercial Director of Finance. This role will encompass a broad range of finance functions, including both commercial and reporting responsibilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions and contribute to their expansion and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, manage, and refine financial models to support the budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making. Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Commercial Finance: Partner with various business units to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and support growth initiatives.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Experience: Relevant post-qualification experience (PQE) in a rapidly scaling tech business, preferably within the SaaS sector.

  • Skills:

  • Strong financial reporting and commercial finance experience.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in financial modelling and forecasting.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.

  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
