About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Engineer with specialised expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the data infrastructure of a dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency, quality, and integrity. Utilize tools such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and other data storage solutions.
- Data Modeling: Design and implement data models, schemas, and databases that support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and storage systems to ensure efficient and timely data processing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Data Security and Governance: Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and governance. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data processes, architectures, and technical solutions.
- Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, cloud computing, and Azure services. Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.
