Job Title: Key Account Manager - HVAC Building Services Decarbonisation Products

Industry Sector: HVAC, M&E, MEP Contractors, Building Services, air conditioning, hot water solutions, decarbonisation products, air source heat pumps, storage tank, solar, solar thermal, heat pumps

Area to be covered: South

Remuneration: Up to £60,000 basic Neg. + £25,000 Uncapped Bonus

Benefits: Car Allowance or Hybrid Company Car + Comprehensive Benefits

The role of the Key Account Manager - HVAC Building Services Decarbonisation Products will involve:

  • Field sales role promoting a manufactured and distributed range of storage solutions, air source heat pumps, solar thermal systems and air conditioning
  • Majority of your time winning projects with M&E contractors (80%) and the remainder with M&E consultants (20%)
  • Key account managing/ developing circa 40-50 M&E contractors/ M&E consultants which will be made up of a mixture of your own HVAC industry contacts and our clients existing customers
  • Targeting commercial projects such as new build housing, office blocks etc.
  • Conducting 1-2 CPD presentations per month
  • Predominantly new business development/selling new products etc.
  • Targeted to achieve circa £450,000, although £900,000-£1m would be very achievable
  • Tracking projects through from cradle to grave
  • KPI's will include project tracking, CPD's, forecasting etc.
  • Order up to £250,000 (targeting the larger value projects for our client)

The ideal applicant will be an Key Account Manager - HVAC Building Services Decarbonisation Products experience with:

  • HVAC/ building services industry field sales background
  • Ideally sold air conditioning, air source heat pumps, solar thermal products
  • Technical capability
  • Contacts within medium to large M&E contractors/ M&E consultants
  • Must understand how projects are constructed and work
  • Project tracking ability
  • Door opener
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Team player with passion, enthusiasm
  • Ambitious and driven
  • Autonomous
