Business Operations Analyst

Business Unit: Unsecured Lending
Salary: £28,400 to £42,600 depending on experience DOE + red hot benefits
Location: Remote working with occasional travel to Chester Hub

Our Team Our Unsecured Lending team are well on their way to achieving their ambition to disrupt the market - smashing targets, winning industry awards and successfully building a credit card and Loans business but we're not done yet. We have big growth plans, and we can't do this without a truly awesome team of talented people to make it happen.

We're looking for someone who has an interest in operational change, technology and/or data who is interested in learning systems and developing your skills. The role will allow you to develop and gain valuable experience in delivering operational business change and IT projects (including Digital).

What you'll be doing

  • Support implementation of innovative solutions, working on both small and large projects.
  • Analysis of business processes, including, costs, risks, and identifying enhancements.
  • Working on the full project life cycle, from initial concepts and problem statements, to gathering requirements, data analysis, presentation skills, project delivery and implementation.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Design & facilitate cross functional data, collaboration & engagement approaches and ‘test & learn' capability.
  • Provide support for systems queries, as well as maintenance and enhancements to Core systems.
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders at different levels across the business.

We need you to have

  • Data and analytical skills - experience dealing with complex data from various sources and being able to analyse trends.
  • Experience in project/change management tools & methodologies.
  • Operational management and continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and ability to learning how things work and problem solving.
  • Strong organizational skills - the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
  • Lending Core systems experience.
  • Proficient in PC skills (intermediate Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
  • A logical thinker, someone who is looking for the best and most efficient ways of doing things.
  • Genuine enthusiasm to work in a team environment to achieve collective goals in a timely way. This includes partaking in cross skilling training.
  • Insatiable curiosity to ask questions and seek to offer the best solutions for our customers and business.
  • A positive working approach to suit customer needs and business demands.
  • Flexibility, working on a wide variety of different tasks and supporting the team as required.

It's a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Financial services experience.
  • Experience and understanding of testing.
