Butler Rose has been appointed to recruit a Management Accountant on behalf of a forward thinking and growing business in Weston-Super-Mare.
In this role you will report directly into the financial controller and be responsible
the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and Group accounts consolidation. You will be involved in the preparation of budgets and year end accounts and will provide regular forecasts and projections providing key financial information for business decisions and will be key in developing the company's financial reporting and data analysis tools moving forward.
Responsibilities include
- Management Accounts preparation
- Performance reporting
- Costing and variance analysis
- Analysis and forecasting
- Business partnering with internal departments to ensure financial procedures are followed
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and liaison with year-end auditors
- Preparation of quarterly and annual budgets/projections
- Supporting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects
The successful candidate is likely to be a CIMA, ACCA or ACA (or equivalent) fully qualified but you will still be considered if you are qualified by experience.
