Job Description: Veritas Education is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Specialist to join a dynamic primary school in the Accrington area. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to lead a Reception class starting in September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Reception students.
- Planning and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all areas of child development.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support to foster their growth and development.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support each child's learning journey.
- Participating in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Specialisation in Early Years Education.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
- Ability to create a nurturing and motivating classroom environment.
