About the Role:
This Wiltshore based school are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join their team, providing high-quality, therapeutic, and child-centred education to students aged 7 to 17. All students have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, with many also having additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a curriculum that spans Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3, and GCSE.
- Build professional, nurturing, and positive relationships with students.
- Manage complex and challenging behaviours with consistency and flexibility.
- Participate in decision-making processes that drive school outcomes and advocate for every child.
