An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HR team on a full-time permanent basis and take over responsibility for all the recruitment with additional HR support as and when needed.

Recruitment and HR Advisor Responsibilities

The Recruitment and HR Advisor will have a varied role including but not limited to:

  • Working with the hiring managers to support on recruitment processes, and ensuring they are aware of best practice
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation
  • Liaising with staffing agencies and developing a PSL
  • Creating compelling job advertisements to attract a strong talent pipeline using LinkedIn, job boards and company website and tracking the metrics for success
  • Scheduling interviews and arranging offer letters, contracts, references, RTW checks, onboarding and training for new starters
  • Remaining abreast of employment law, and market trends with regards to recruitment
  • Utilising ATS to manage selection process and training of hiring managers

Recruitment and HR Advisor Experience

To be successful in this role you will be a seasoned In-House/ Internal recruiter who is used to managing the full recruitment lifecycle from liaising with hiring managers on job requisitions to writing engaging job adverts and sourcing candidates across job boards. You will be experienced at liaising confidently and efficiently with recruitment agencies, creating and managing a PSL. You will be experienced at selecting applications to share with hiring managers through to scheduling interviews and writing and sending out offer letters and contracts for successful applicants to onboarding and remaining in touch with candidates/ employees until the end of their 6-month probation period.

Exceptional organisation and communication skills are crucial alongside the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders and educate/ train them on recruitment best practice and processes. You must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work and have proven experience of handling confidential information. You will be self-motivated and proactive in your approach, and a team player, happy to adapt to the needs of a growing business.

You must have experience of using LinkedIn Recruiter to attract and source candidates for roles in the UK office and international office locations, and experience of developing and improving the use of this licence. Experience of recruiting across international locations (whilst based in the UK) would be an advantage.

You must have experience of working on an ATS to track and manage the recruitment process.

You must have an interest in HR and experience of getting involved in aspects of HR such as payroll, reference and RTW checks and contracts. As it is a small HR team, you will be required to provide annual leave cover for some HR activities.

Location

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role, working 3 days in the office. There is some flexibility on office days but Wednesday is a team day and so you must be in the office on a Wednesday plus 2 other days. The role is based in Oxford, OX2 with free onsite parking. Please ensure you live within commutable distance and can be on-site as required.

Start Date: Immediately
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm

Interview Process:

  • 30-minute Teams session – 1st stage: Review of CV and
  • 60-minute On-site meeting – 2nd stage: Face to face interview

This role is to start BEFORE MID-SEPT to ensure a thorough onboarding. We cannot consider long notice periods.

You must have the full UK right to work in the UK and strong UK recruitment experience. Sponsorship unavailable.
