Your Role as a Future Supervisor
In this role, you'll work closely with the Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our industrial laundry facility, ensuring a safe and productive environment for your team. You'll receive support and guidance from both the management team and your fellow colleagues as you work your way through a tailored training and development programme.
Once your training is complete, you'll be responsible for running a shift working with a small team of production operators to maintain the high standards of quality, quantity, and service that our customers expect. This is a fantastic opportunity to fast-track your career and develop as an individual.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Initially you will be shadowing the Production Manager and current Supervisor to gain hands-on experience whilst working your way through your training and development programme
- Developing leadership skills and learning how to effectively lead a team
- Understanding our processes with the goal of training others in the future
- Maintaining work flow and ensuring production targets are met
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
- Assisting in various production departments as needed
- Monitoring inventory levels and optimising the use of supplies
Key Responsibilities of a Supervisor:
- Assist the Production Manager with daily operational challenges to ensure smooth operations
- Train operators on processes safely and in accordance with company policies
- Monitor and exceed daily production targets
- Ensure the timely completion of production units with a focus on quality and KPI achievement
- Maintain cleanliness and handle housekeeping duties, including the outside yard area
- Be responsible for start-up in the morning and shut down in the evening, depending on your shift

Additional Information:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
- £11.50 - £12.50 per hour
