We have an exciting opportunity for an Income Officer to join our Housing Services Team, supporting the provision of a high-quality Income Management Service.

In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Income Officer will involve:

  • Working with colleagues to manage rent accounts from beginning to end.
  • Promoting sustainment by supporting an accurate, responsive rent and service charge enquiry information service.
  • Working with internal and external partners to ensure vulnerable customers are identified and are offered appropriate support.
  • Representing Citizen at Court.

As an Income Officer, we need you to have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of current best practice in income management and arrears processes.
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong communication skills to deliver effective working relationships with work colleagues and customers.
  • Highly self-motivated, able to act with integrity and show drive and enthusiasm.
  • Current clean driving licence and access to a vehicle to enable travel to properties and schemes.

  • Experience of working in a housing environment or a similar related role.
  • CIH level 3
