Job role: Accounts Manager
Location: Ferndown
Pay: £45,000 - £50,000k – DOE
REED are recruiting on behalf of a well-established accountancy firm in Ferndown for a Accounts Manager on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a new opportunity on a permanent basis to work with a client who specialise in forensic accounting as their new Account Manager in Ferndown.
As an Accounts Manager your duties will include:
- Manage a portfolio of assigned clients with responsibility for planning jobs in and organising timescales for completion in addition to preparing year end accounts
- Monthly/Quarterly management accounts
- Ad hoc bookkeeping and completion of VAT returns
- Liaise with existing clients to resolve queries and assist with accounting matters.
- Personal and corporate tax returns.
This role is offered on either a full time or part-time (minimum 30 hrs per week) basis. We offer hybrid working but would expect the right candidate to be office based for 50% of the working week.
You will need:
- We are looking for a technically strong ICAEW/ACCA qualified accountant with recent practice experience.
- The right candidate must be comfortable dealing with clients and have a flexible and positive attitude.
- Working knowledge of Sage and Xero is required and knowledge of QuickBooks desirable.
