A long stand popular client based in the Lancing area is looking to bolster the finance team by recruiting a full time permanent Assistant Accountant.
Description
As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and entering journals into the system
- Process supplier and expense payments
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitoring credit and chasing debt.
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
- Managing finance portals with lenders
- Supporting VAT return processing
Profile
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
- Analytical thinker and problem solver
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software
- High level of accuracy
- Organised
