**Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for various events and installations. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and excellent customer service abilities.
**Key Responsibilities:

Setup and Operation:

Install, configure, and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for live events, conferences, meetings, and other functions.

Set up and test microphones, speakers, video monitors, projectors, video screens, recording equipment, sound and mixing boards, and related electronic equipment.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform regular maintenance checks on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with AV equipment in a timely manner.

Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.

Event Support:

Provide on-site technical support during events to ensure smooth operation of AV systems.

Collaborate with event organizers to understand AV requirements and provide expert advice on the best solutions.

Ensure all AV setups are completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
**Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Media Production, Electronics, or a related field.

Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role, preferably in a live event or corporate environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in the setup and operation of AV systems, including soundboards, mixers, microphones, projectors, and lighting systems.

Strong understanding of signal flow and AV networking.

Experience with troubleshooting AV equipment and systems.

Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX).
