Architectural Technician
My client are a growing contractor building stylish homes across the North West. Due to several new developments starting in the region they have an opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join their Design & Technical team.
The company specialise in a mix of housing and apartment schemes across the Greater Manchester region offering a range of house types.
Architectural Technician Role
Reporting to the Design Manager your duties and responsibilities include:
- Designing and the production of working drawings for low rise Apartments
- Working alongside the Designer and assisting in the production of the planning drawing packages
- Attending site meetings and supporting site staff with any technical queries
- Assisting in the management and satisfying regulatory bodies such as Planning, Building Control.
Architectural Technician skills and experience required:
- Minimum HNC in Construction (or similar)
- Minimum 4 years experience
- Strong understanding of buildings and construction
- Previous experience working on housing developments (UK based experience essential)
- Creativity and design
- Good drawing skills
- Strong visualisation
- Practical problem-solving
- Team player
