Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus Car Allowance

Mineral and Waste Planner Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans for mineral exploration and extraction projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all planning activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to mineral planning and land use.
- Environmental Impact Assessments: Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments to evaluate potential effects of mining projects and propose mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Consultation: Engage with government agencies, landowners, community groups, and other stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and facilitate project approvals.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed planning documents, reports, and proposals. Maintain accurate records of all planning activities and decisions.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning and permitting process, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in planning, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in mineral planning or a similar role within the planning or mining industry.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, land use policies, and planning processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in GIS and other planning-related software is highly desirable.
