SF Recruitment are seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic team based in Nottingham. This is a permanent, full-time role that includes hybrid working as well as great benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the financial processes. Your daily, weekly, and monthly duties will include:
- Managing the Accounts inbox and invoices inbox efficiently.
- Adding purchase invoices to Xero.
- Handling fortnightly payment runs with accuracy and timeliness.
- Raising sales invoices on WFM/XERO to maintain accurate records.
- Processing staff expenses and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Handling invoice queries promptly and professionally.
- Checking purchase orders (POs) and verifying their values.
- Managing the Accounts inbox and invoices inbox efficiently.
- Updating projections to assist in financial forecasting.
- Conducting ad hoc calculations to support decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for numbers. You will have a minimum of a year's Accounts experience with a strong understanding of financial processes.
