Resourcing and Onboarding Officer

An experienced Resourcing and On-boarding Officer is required to support the recruitment and wider people function within the organisation, ensuring excellent candidate experience and compliance.

This is a full time, temporary position working Monday to Friday

Duties

  • To provide advice and guidance on recruitment processes to managers and candidates
  • Ensure all records and systems are updated accurately and documents saved
  • Undertake all necessary pre-employment checks including DBS checks
  • Ensure new starter probationary periods are processed in a timely way
  • Organise induction programmes
  • Assist with recruitment tasks including candiate journey, advertising vacancies , uploading data onto ATS system, query management and reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of information within Data Protection GDPR legislation

Experience

  • An understanding of how to use different software and channels (e.g. social media) for advertisement and recruitment purposes
  • Good understanding of recruitment procedures
  • Good understanding of right to work requirements
  • Generalist HR experience or experience working within a recruitment role
  • Excellent understanding and commitment to the practice of Diversity and Inclusion within recruitment
  • Experience of maintaining accurate records using various IT systems including MS Office Packages and ATS/ HRIS
